Prelude: To open the youth service, the young people’s orchestra played “He Is Here” and “Come, Now Is the Time to Worship.” The choir then sang “Exceeding, Great and Precious.”

Featured Testimonies: Elijah Baros said he is thankful for God’s help with school and that things are going well this term. Catey Hinkle testified that God protected her when she was in a head-on collision several years ago and that the Lord reminded her how much He really did protect her. Harmony Hinkle (pictured) said she appreciates that God is faithful to show her what she needs to do to draw closer to Him. Marcus Luka is thankful that God used a situation to show him that He is with him at school and that there are other Christians around, too.

Last Special: Sam Asaya played the piano and sang “Jesus Loves Me.”

Sermon: Erik Calhoun read 2 Corinthians 5:17, reminding his listeners that when they are born again, they are made new and alive in Christ—a new creation with no sins because the past has been forgiven.
