Prelude: A trombone ensemble played “Praises” and “Since Jesus Came into My Heart.” The choir followed, singing “Jesus Saves.”

Baby Dedication: Dave Lambert read Mark 10:13-16 and explained that dedicating children to God does not save them, but it is a blessing to bring them to Jesus and pray for them. Able and Olivia Oni then came forward with their baby, Etun, and Brother Dave led in a prayer of dedication.

First Special: Jeremy Barrett and Barrett Oilar sang “Because of Calvary.”

Testimonies: Able Oni appreciated his Christian upbringing, that God provided a Christian wife for him, and that He worked everything out with the birth of their baby. Olivia Oni gave thanks for the example her parents set before her and how they taught her the importance of raising a child in the Gospel. Austin McCarville was thankful that God showed him a new way to pray about his need for healing, and that God did heal him.

Last Special: Angela Lucescu sang “Be unto Your Name.”

Sermon: John Musgrave read Joshua 9:3-6, reminding his listeners to stick to God’s plan, to seek God, and not get into a conversation with the enemy.
